Hello.
My name is Thorsten, i live in germany and playing around with matrix voice on a raspberry pi 3b (powered by 3a power supply) in combination with mycroft ai.
Because i have some stability issues on accessing the mic (sometimes it works, sometimes system freezes, sometimes it needs a lot of reboots until the mic works properly) i am thinking of doing a firmware upgrade.
I read the following threads/pages and i am unsure if doing a firmware update is a good idea.
The everloop_rainbow, … tests works great on my device.
Here some system infos:
dpkg -l|grep -i matrix
ii libmatrixio-creator-hal:armhf 0.3.7
ii libmatrixio-creator-hal-dev 0.3.7
ii matrixio-creator-init 0.4.13
ii matrixio-kernel-modules 0.1.4
ii matrixio-openocd 1.0.1
ii matrixio-xc3sprog 1.1.1
sudo /usr/share/matrixlabs/matrixio-devices/fpga_info

sudo /usr/share/matrixlabs/matrixio-devices/matrix-init.bash
*** MATRIX Voice has a updated firmware
*** MATRIX Voice initial process has been launched
Should i do a firmware update - yes or no?
Thanks for any feedback on this.
Thorsten
