Hello everyone,
I use my matrix voice on raspberry pi 3 with Snips.
I use a python script to controll the 18 rgb LED’s (based on the everloop python code).
Is it possible to turn Off the bottom blue LED in my python script or with other method ?
The code for that debug_led is actually in the FPGA.
I will be testing some FPGA stuff on the MATRIX Voice over the weekend, and can send you a modified FPGA bit file that turns that LED off. You would just have to flash it using this guide.
You can also modify and change this yourself by commenting out this line, compiling & flashing using this guide.
I apologize for any inconvenience you had with the Xilinx ISE, but it seems that blue LED at the back is connected to power directly, so it will always be on when the MATRIX Voice is on. I initially incorrectly thought it was connected to the FPGA! If you really want, you can cover it up with a piece of black electrical tape.
Hello @Samreen,
That’s too bad, but it’s okay.
Anyway, thank you very much for your help and your time.
I wish you a good continuation,
cordially,
Tengu.
